Today I'm going to the shea stadium today. I'm going to see the Mets vs. Pirates, and I think Pirates going to win. Now Iam back from the Mets game and how I predicted they lost, the score was 13-1. Oliver Perez pitched a really bad game he had 5 walks in 1 in 2/3, and also 7 runs. I think that Oliver Perez needs to step his game up, and do a better job because the Mets got beat up by the Pirates in the second inning. And I got one more thing to tell you. In the second inning Carlos Beltran caught the third out and he threw the ball that he caught to the picnic area were I was everybody got crazy, a bunch of kids were jumping in to the baseball my friend had it but then he threw it by mistake to the other side and a girl who was not interested at all of the baseball, caught it and while everybody was still fighting she was very calm holding it. I think that she had a lot of luck.Wednesday, April 30, 2008

new york Giants

The New York Giants are the best team in football history. They won last year's Super Bowl, and they won it because they are a very strong team. The Giants are my favorite team for life, so it is Giants all-day and every-day. They went to the playoffs in the wildcard, and they had a really nice record. The Giants really impressed their fans by working hard and winning the Super Bowl. And the fans from New York also gave a lot of energy to the Giants.

BMX

BMX is a very extreme sport. People can get really hurt. BMX is a form of bike riding on specially designed bikes. The sport includes racing on earthen tracks. Freestyle BMX has grown a lot to include five disciplines. Those are Street, Park, Vert, Dirt, and Flatland. And this disciplines usually involve technical movements of the bike in different ways over varied terrain. In 2008 BMX racing will officially enter the Olympics for the first time in Beijing, China.
The BMX bike has grown very popular with youth and has been known to be practical as it is rather small and easy to move. BMX has gotten a lot of young people to get in the extreme sports, and I think that is a good thing. Because the entertain themselves and they don't have any problem with Drugs.

Vince young

Vincent Paul Young, Jr. was born in May 18, 1983 in Houston, Texas), commonly Vince Young, or "VY", is an award-winning American football player. A dual-threat quarterback, Young is the current starting quarterback for the National Football League Tennessee Titans. Young played college football for the University of Texas Longhorns before turning professional. As a college junior, Young was one of the three finalists for the Heisman Trophy, finishing second to Reggie Bush. Following the Heisman voting, Young led his team to a BCS National Championship in a classic thriller against the defending BCS national champion University of Southern California Trojans in the 2006 Rose Bowl. The game featured two Heisman Trophy winners as Young's opponents: both USC quarterback Matt Leinart and USC running back Reggie Bush. The game was called one of the most-anticipated games in the history of college football. In 2006, ESPN named Young as the 10th best college football player of all time. Following the season, Young decided he would forgo his last year of NCAA college eligibility and become a professional player by entering the 2006 NFL Draft, earning the No. 3 overall pick. In his rookie season, Young was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and earned a roster spot on the AFC Pro Bowl team.

Michael vick

In 2002, Vick became a bona fide star and MVP candidate in his first season as a full-time starter at the age of 22. He was named to his first Pro Bowl after starting all 15 games played, only missing a game to the New York Giants on October 13 due to a sprained shoulder. He completed 231 of 421 passes for 2,936 yards (both career-highs) and 16 touchdowns, while he also tallied 113 carries for 777 yards and eight rushing touchdowns. In this season, Vick established numerous single-game career-highs, including passes completed with 24 and pass attempts with 46 at Pittsburgh on November 10, as well as passing yards with 337 vs. Detroit on December 22. He also completed a career-long 74 yards for a touchdown to WR Trevor Gaylor vs. New Orleans on November 17. Vick registered an NFL record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in a single a game with 173 yards at Minnesota on December 1. Vick also tied for third in team history for the lowest interception percentage in a season at 1.90 and continued a streak of consecutive passes without an interception that began at St. Louis on January 6, 2002 in the season-finale of the 2001 season and extended to the first quarter vs. Baltimore on November 3, 2002. His streak covered 25 straight quarters and 177 passes without an interception. On January 1, 2003, Vick led the Atlanta Falcons to an upset victory over the heavily favored Green Bay Packers 27-7 in the NFC playoffs, ending the Packers' undefeated playoff record at Lambeau Field. The Falcons would later lose 20-6 to the Donovan McNabb-led Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC divisional playoff game.

Michael Strahan
Michael Strahan is the starting defensive end for the "New York Giants. He holds the NFL record for sacks in a single season with 22.5, breaking New York Jets great Mark Gastineau's total of 22 in the 2001 season, though it is tainted with controversy. Before the sack that enabled Strahan to set the record, Green Bay Packers quarterback (and close friend) Brett Favre spoke briefly with him. On the next play, Favre dropped back as if to pass, then suddenly scrambled towards the side that Strahan was rushing from, abruptly diving onto the ground, allowing Strahan to fall on top of him for an easy sack. After the play, during the ensuing celebration, many of the Giants' defensive players patted Favre on the helmet. Many observers accused Favre of deliberately falling to ensure that Strahan would get the record.Strahan currently has 141.5 career sacks, 794 career tackles, 4 career interceptions, 21 forced fumbles and 2 career touchdowns in 200 games over a 15 year career (through 2007 season). Throughout the greater part of the 2004 season, Strahan was injured with a torn pectoral muscle, which limited him to only 4 sacks. He rebounded in 2005, returning to the Pro Bowl, with his partner, Osi Umenyiora as the two combined for 26 sacks while anchoring the Giants' defense. He is a future Hall of Famer.

Adrian peterson

Adrian Lewis Peterson was born in March 21, 1985 in Palestine, Texas. Nicknamed A.D. ("All Day") and "Purple Jesus" is a professional American football running back for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. He played college football as a running back for three years at the University of Oklahoma. At Oklahoma, Peterson set the NCAA freshman rushing record with 1,925 yards (as a true freshman and not a redshirt freshman) as a first team All-American, when he also set the freshman record of runner-up in the Heisman Trophy balloting, and finished as the school's third all-time leading rusher.
Peterson was selected by the Minnesota Vikings with the seventh overall pick in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. Coming into the league, he was known as a tall, upright runner possessing an ultra-rare combination of speed, strength, agility, size, and vision, along with a highly aggressive attitude towards contact. His rare talent as both a great breakaway and power runner has often raised comparisons to past legends, including Eric Dickerson, O.J. Simpson, Gale Sayers, and Jim Brown. As a rookie in the NFL, he has broken numerous franchise and league records for rushing yardage, foremost being the NFL single-game rushing record when he ran for 296 yards on 30 carries on November 4, 2007, against the San Diego Chargers. Following his stellar first pro season, Peterson was a near-unanimous choice as the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year . In the 2008 NFL Pro Bowl, Peterson rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns, achieving the second highest rushing total in Pro Bowl history. Peterson was awarded the MVP award for his performance in the Pro Bowl, which led to a 42-30 victory over the AFC.

My prediction of the NBA
Los Angeles Lakers

The Houston Rockets

East's top three teams
From the East my top 3 teams are: The Boston Celtics, The Cleveland Cavaliers, and The Detroit Pistons.

The Boston Celtics are in first place of the east. They have the trio of the NBA. Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen. They have a lot of scorers in the team. They are very confident,a powerful team, and they work like a team that knonw each other for years. These team is my final NBA championship winners. I think they are going to win because of the way they have played through the whole season and the way play with each other. The Celtics are going to win the NBA championship for the first time in like 30 years.

Race for the MVP

Chris Paul is the starting Point Guard for The New Orleans Hornets. His jersey number is #3. Paul averages 11.6 assists per game, he averages 21.1 points per game and he averages 4.00 rebounds per game. Chris Paul has carried his team to the playoffs. He has played with a lot of effort and has always been confident. It is a good thing that he has not gotten injured. I think that Chris Paul has not a lot of chance of geting the MVP because he has not been as good as the other contenders. Paul was in the "West's All-Star Team" with his teammate David West. But he still has a chance of winning the MVP trophy.

Lebron James is the starting Small Foward for The Cleveland Cavaliers. His jersey number is #23. Lebron James is nicknamed as "The King James". Lebron averages 30.00 points per game, he averages 7.90 rebounds per game, he averages 7.2 assists per game. Last year he carried his team to NBA championship, but lost to The San Antonio Spurs. He also dunks the ball over everybody. He has done an excellent job taking his team to the playoffs. Lebron also was voted in to play in the "East's All-Star Team". He is a good contender for the MVP trophy.

The top 6 draft picks
The Miami Dolphins have the first spot in the NFL draft and they need a really good offensive tackle . They going to draft one of the best offensive tackles in college history and I think it is a very good decision, and they going to draft Jake Long from Michigan University."Well done Miami you are going to have a good offensive tackle.
The next spot is for the St.Louis Rams, and they going to draft the defensive end Chris Long from Virginia University. He is going to be the second pick because he is really buff, he plays really well and he can be a great man for the St. Louis Rams defensive lineman. They did a really nice decision because Leonard Little is going to be 34 years old next season and he is geting kind of old, so they really need to reinforce their defensive line.
The number three spot is for the Atlanta Falcons. For the Falcons it was down to Glenn Dorsey and Matt Ryan. I have a prediction and I think the Atlanta Falcons going to draft the defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey from LSU. I think they going to draft him because they want to have one of the best defense in the NFL, beacuse I think that with Richard Seymour, Ty Warren and Vince Wilfork it is enough.
The Oakland Raiders have the number four pick. My personal opinion is that they are going to draft the defensive end Vernon Gholston from Ohio State. Not a bad decision if they draft him they going to have strong defensive line. I think they drafted him because he fills a very big spot in Oakland.
The next spot is for the Kansas City Chiefs. I'm not really sure who they going to draft. But my best guess is Jeff Otah the offensive tackle from Pittsburgh University. They drafted him beacuse they really want to protect their quarterback. He is very strong, he is an animal.
And last but not least the sixth spot is for the New York Jets. The person that Ithink they drafting is one of my favorite college football players. The person that they going to draft is Darren McFadden the running back from Arkansas. He is very fast, he has run power and knows how to run the football. Good job general manager of the Jets.
The NFL draft is going to be on saturday, april 26, 2008.
